A leading boutique family law firm is looking to appoint a Family Paralegal in Bournemouth to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Paralegal in Bournemouth to work within a Legal 500-recognised practice, supporting experienced solicitors on high-quality, privately funded matters.

You will join a specialist firm known for its compassionate, client-first approach and strong track record of developing paralegals into qualified lawyers. As a Family Paralegal within this specialist department, you will gain hands-on exposure to complex family law work and a clear pathway for progression. Candidates with both private and public law experience will be considered for this role.

The Role:

  • Supporting solicitors on divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
  • Assisting with file management from instruction through to conclusion
  • Drafting legal documents, applications and correspondence
  • Preparing court bundles and trial documentation
  • Liaising with clients, courts, counsel and third parties
  • Conducting legal research and assisting on complex cases
  • Providing administrative and case support across the team
  • Delivering a high standard of client care

The Candidate:

  • Paralegal with experience in family law (public / private)
  • Some exposure to privately funded family matters would be an advantage
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Confident communicator with strong client care skills
  • Keen to progress and build a long-term career in family law
  • Proactive and able to work independently and in a team
  • Professional, empathetic and client-focused
