A leading UK law firm is seeking an Insolvency & Restructuring Solicitors to join its highly regarded disputes practice in Manchester. Working with insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors, businesses and other stakeholders, you’ll advise on a broad range of corporate and personal insolvency matters, encompassing both contentious and non-contentious work.
This Insolvency & Corporate Recovery Solicitor opportunity in Manchester offers exposure to high-quality work from day one. As an Insolvency & Corporate Recovery Solicitor in Manchester, you'll join a collaborative and supportive team recognised for delivering commercially focused advice to clients ranging from SMEs to large national and international organisations.
The Role:
- Working alongside partners on complex commercial disputes
- Managing your own matters with growing autonomy
- Advising insolvency practitioners, individuals, directors and stakeholders
- Handling both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters
- Assisting on corporate restructurings, administrations, liquidations and bankruptcies
- Managing insolvency litigation and recovery actions
- Providing strategic advisory support to businesses experiencing financial challenges
- Advising on directors’ duties and corporate recovery matters
- Managing your own caseload with increasing autonomy
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firms wider commercial and disputes practice
The Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Insolvency, Corporate Recovery or Commercial Litigation
- Previous litigation experience ideally gained within a disputes or insolvency practice
- Experience in corporate restructuring and advisory work
- Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to client service
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Ambitious and motivated to develop a long term career in insolvency and restructuring
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes
