As Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team to achieve both collective and individual technical and performance objectives. The role will involve providing day-to-day supervision, technical guidance, and training, alongside maintaining a reduced caseload of occupational disease matters. You will play a key role in driving settlement strategies, ensuring compliance with client and internal benchmarks, and contributing to projects and process improvements across the team.
The Candidate
- Solicitor or equivalent with relevant post-qualification experience in occupational disease or disease litigation
- Essential experience handling occupational disease claims, including litigated matters
- Essential authority to provide technical sign-off on litigated disease claims
- Strong technical knowledge across all stages of the litigation process
- Commercially aware with enthusiasm for performance management and continuous improvement
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others while managing your own caseload
