Property Litigation Associate / Senior Associate Solicitor – Birmingham with Hybrid Working – Β£75,000 to Β£100,000 + Excellent Benefits

A long-established and highly respected West Midlands law firm, recognised in multiple categories of the legal 500, is seeking a Property Litigation Associate / Senior Associate Solicitor to join its Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Dispute Resolution team, handling a broad range of residential and commercial property disputes while working with an established client base and helping to further develop the firm's offering. The Role:

  • Managing a varied caseload of residential and commercial property disputes
  • Advising both landlords and tenants on contentious landlord and tenant matters
  • Handling boundary disputes and general property litigation matters
  • Managing TOLATA claims from instruction through to resolution
  • Advising on professional negligence claims relating to property matters
  • Assisting with wider commercial litigation matters where required
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and other legal documentation
  • Conducting advocacy where appropriate
  • Providing exceptional client care and managing client expectations throughout matters
  • Building upon the firm's strong reputation and actively contributing to business development initiatives
  • Working collaboratively within the Dispute Resolution team to deliver successful outcomes for clients

The Candidate:

  • A qualified Solicitor with experience in Property Litigation
  • Experience handling contentious landlord and tenant disputes for both residential and commercial clients
  • Experience with boundary disputes, TOLATA claims and general property litigation matters
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Advocacy experience or a willingness to develop advocacy skills
  • Commercially aware with strong organisational and case management abilities
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A proactive team player with a genuine interest in developing the firm's Property Litigation offering
