Contentious Probate Principal Associate / Legal Director – Birmingham – Up to £105,000 + Benefits
A highly regarded National law firm is seeking an experienced Contentious Probate Principal Associate / Legal Director to join its Birmingham team and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.
This is a really exciting opportunity for a senior Contentious Probate lawyer to join an established team with the backing of a Legal 500-renowned Partner and the platform of a highly respected national firm. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle high-quality work, develop client relationships and play an important role in the future growth of the Birmingham Contentious Probate team.
This Contentious Probate Principal Associate / Legal Director role would suit a commercially minded lawyer who is looking for a senior position within a strong team, with genuine scope to develop their profile, client base and career.
The Role:
- Handle a varied caseload of complex and high-value Contentious Probate matters
- Advise individuals, families, trustees and other interested parties on contentious trust and estate matters
- Deal with disputes concerning wills, trusts, estates and inheritance
- Work closely with a Legal 500-renowned Partner and wider Private Client team
- Play an active role in developing and growing the Birmingham Contentious Probate practice
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify and support business development opportunities
- Mentor and support more junior members of the team
- Contribute to the strategic development of the Birmingham offering
The Candidate:
- Senior Contentious Probate Solicitor at Principal Associate, Legal Director or equivalent level
- Strong technical experience across a broad range of contentious probate matters
- Experience handling complex and high-value disputes involving wills, trusts and estates
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Commercially astute with a genuine interest in growing a practice
- Ambitious and keen to play a key role in the continued development of a Birmingham team
- Able to work effectively as part of a collaborative and established team
- Salary up to £105,000
