The Role:
- Leading on a broad range of Commercial Litigation matters, including high-value and complex disputes
- Advising on commercial contract disputes and wider business conflicts
- Handling shareholder, partnership, and director disputes
- Acting on restrictive covenant and defamation matters
- Supporting international arbitration work where required
- Managing client relationships across a diverse portfolio, including corporates and public sector bodies
- Driving business development activity, including networking and building a sustainable pipeline
- Playing a key role in the growth and strategic development of the Birmingham disputes team
The Candidate:
- An experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor operating at Partner level, or a Legal Director / Senior Associate ready to step up
- Strong technical expertise across a wide range of commercial disputes
- A proven or developing client following, with the ability to generate work and build a sustainable pipeline
- Commercially driven, with the ambition to play a leading role in growing the practice
- Experience gained within a reputable regional, national, or international firm
- Ambitious and motivated, with a clear interest in progression towards Equity Partnership
