Night Warehouse Operative

Overview

Warehouse Operative (Night Shift) – Nelson Main Site – £14.82 per hour

Shift Pattern: 34 hours per week, 4 nights per week (worked between Sunday night and Friday night).

This is a night shift role with start time of 7pm and finish time dependent on the last van being picked and loaded, working 4 out of 6 nights Sunday to Friday. Based in Nelson, Lancashire, you will join a fast-paced warehouse environment, picking and packing orders for delivery to customers.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are picked and packed into our reusable green crates as per the order sheet, ready to be loaded onto our fleet of vans, working quickly and efficiently.

Using handheld devices, you will scan order sheets to ensure the correct stock is picked, while adhering to health and safety procedures. You will ensure stock on the shelves is rotated in accordance with the on-pack dates and help maintain a clean, tidy warehouse.

What You Will Need

• You will be working as part of a team, so being a reliable and effective team member is important.
• You will need strong communication skills and have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
• You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines whilst having a good eye for detail.

Full training and PPE will be provided.

This role is commutable from Nelson, Colne, Barnoldswick, Earby, Burnley and Accrington with good access to the M65.
