Location: Nelson (Lancashire)
As a People Team Administrator, you will provide efficient, accurate and proactive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. You will play a vital role in ensuring our people processes are seamless, compliant, and data-driven. You will also act as a custodian of our HR systems, maintaining high-quality data and providing valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end administration for new starters, movers and leavers.
- Produce contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate inductions and support a positive onboarding experience.
- Track probation reviews and exit interview feedback, identifying trends.
- Maintain accurate, compliant employee records.
- Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Produce regular reports on headcount, absence and turnover.
- Support a more data-driven approach to people decisions.
- Manage Time & Attendance system data (Zeus) and support reporting.
- Track absence records and review processes.
- Support with disciplinary and grievance administration.
- Prepare documentation and support the ER Advisor with casework.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries.
- Coordinate Occupational Health appointments and engagement activities.
- Support projects, communications and wider People Team initiatives.
- Help drive engagement and utilisation of wellbeing and reward tools.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment (FMCG, logistics or similar advantageous).
- Familiarity with HR processes and systems.
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
