Great opportunity for a recent graduate to join our Group IT Team based in Hull. As a Graduate Project Manager, you’ll have the chance to work with some great food businesses, delivering IT and digital transformation projects.
The Role Of Graduate Project Manager
You’ll start out shadowing a Project Manager, working with them and learning from them before beginning to work on your own small projects. As your skills develop, you\'ll lead increasingly larger and more complex projects. You will complete development programmes to learn about the industry, project management, and the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required for leadership. You’ll also have opportunities to gain industry qualifications such as PRINCE2 Agile and Scrum, or complete a project management apprenticeship.
About You
Graduate Project Manager skills include:
- A genuine interest in IT, technology, and project management
- A recent graduate with a degree in any subject
- Flexibility to occasionally travel across the UK
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop
- Initiative and curiosity
We’re looking for inquisitive self-starters with a strong work ethic and confidence to communicate clearly across all levels of the business. You should also bring:
- Attention to detail and a calm, problem-solving mindset
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Team spirit, resilience, and adaptability
- Empathy and the ability to support and motivate others
If successful, interviews will take place on 2nd July at The Riverside Building in Hessle near Hull.
You’ll receive a salary of £26,000 – £28,000, along with benefits such as:
