Day Warehouse Operative – £12.33 per hour – Nelson, Lancashire
About the role
The purpose of this role is to replenish produce in your department, adhering to all relevant responsibilities including compliance with stock taking rota, food safety standards, and health & safety. You will also ensure that the department is set up for the night pick as a key part of this role.
What you will do:
Health and Safety / Food Safety:
- Ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times, meeting BRC accreditation and high GMP standards.
- Adhere to SOP and safety training.
- Follow company and statutory health and safety, security, and emergency procedures.
Stock Management:
- Maintain 100% compliance with stock management, including rotation, date checking, and location accuracy.
- Set up the department for night pick.
- Review products on the Missing List report to aim for zero products on the list.
- Organize storage of excess products efficiently to maximize storage space for future deliveries.
- Attach accurate and clear air tickets to stored pallets.
- Present shelves efficiently.
