Business Development Manager – North West and Midlands – Competitive Salary

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join Wellocks in the Business Development team. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to support our customers in the North West and Midlands region. This role requires travel across the North West and Midlands area, so providing there is a willingness to travel, location is flexible. Occasional requirement to visit the main Wellocks site based in Nelson in the North West.

This is a fast-paced role, which requires a calm and collected approach to the everchanging day-to-day environment of Food Services. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new and existing business across your regional area, representing Wellocks to the highest standard expected when servicing the best kitchens across the UK.

What you will do:

  • Solid customer management through nurturing and maintaining effective relationships with regular communication and visits.
  • Identify opportunities to wow your customers through product insight and proactive NPD pipeline communication.
  • Ensure sales are maintained with existing customers and AOV and margin targets are achieved.
  • Identify opportunities to increase AOV developing effective plans and target approach through understanding your customer drivers.
  • Build new potential business pipeline through industry networking.
  • Get to know your customers\’ expectations and always strive for Wellocks to exceed these through effective communication, feedback and maximising opportunities to showcase our products.
