William Hulme's Grammar School (WHGS) is an all-through school and one of the most over-subscribed schools in Manchester. The role of Finance Assistant is full time, 37.5 hours per week, all year round. The successful candidate will work within the school's finance team and will have the opportunity to grow and develop within the team. Future growth may include budget reporting and payroll related administration.
Key Responsibilities- Work under own initiative, prioritise workload and multitask.
- Adapt to changing circumstances in a versatile role.
- Maintain confidentiality and deliver good customer service.
- Learn and use a variety of software packages.
- Process purchase ledger or invoices.
- Handle online ordering and cash handling.
The Finance Assistant should be enthusiastic, motivated and wishing to progress a career in finance. Relevant experience with purchase ledger or invoice processing and familiarity with online ordering and cash handling is desirable.
