Job description
The Finance Assistant will support the school’s finance team, primarily in purchase ledger, invoice processing, online ordering and cash handling. The role will also involve budget reporting and payroll related administration, and offers opportunities for further growth within the finance team.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing purchase orders and invoices using approved software packages
- Maintaining accurate online ordering and cash handling records
- Assisting with budget reporting and payroll administration as required
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality
- Working independently, prioritising workload and multitasking in a changing environment
Qualifications and skills:
- Experience with purchase ledger or invoice processing
- Familiarity with finance software packages
