As a key part of the 2nd line Group Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function at evoke, we are looking for a detail‑oriented Risk Governance & Frameworks Manager to help support our ongoing journey towards a best‑in‑class risk management culture through an ERM infrastructure that manages the company’s overall risk exposure, generates competitive advantages, and creates business opportunities.
Reporting into the Group Head of Enterprise Risk Management, you will play a crucial role ensuring a robust risk governance and reporting framework, and in doing so provide the Board and Executive management with confidence in evoke’s risk and control frameworks. The role requires a significant amount of coordination and oversight across the different functional areas within the evoke business. You’ll possess a good understanding of risk management and have strong experience in owning a risk governance and reporting framework. As you will be working with senior leaders and Executive members, this role requires the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
What you will be doing:

- Define and embed clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability for risk governance across all organisational levels, including ownership of ERC Terms of Reference and consistency across sub‑committees.
- Lead the development, maintenance, and publication of key risk materials, including Group Risk Policy, Risk Appetite Statements, and Risk Governance Policy.
- Develop and oversee robust risk reporting for senior management and the Board, including ERC and ARC, ensuring timely, accurate insight into key risk indicators, incidents and control issues.
- Standardise and manage high‑quality reporting outputs, including packs, minutes, and action tracking, while preparing Board papers, speaking notes, and Annual Report risk content for the Chief Risk Officer.
- Lead and support internal and external risk reporting requirements, maintaining a library of materials for stakeholders such as regulators, insurers, and investors, and responding to ad‑hoc requests as needed.
- Collaborate with different departments across the organisation to gather relevant risk information and ensure consistent reporting, and ensure timely response to and closure of key governance actions arising from Executive Risk Committee and Board Audit & Risk Committee.
- Drive completion of key actions arising from formal governance channels and ensure these are implemented and communicated across the organisation.
- Engage confidently with senior leaders and external stakeholders to discuss risk reporting and governance practices and provide guidance and training to ensure understanding of governance approaches and procedures across the organisation.
Who we are looking for:
- Significant time working within risk management, contributing to the design and effectiveness of ERM or governance frameworks and familiarity with core risk management tools, including RCSAs, risk reporting, risk appetite statements, incidents and issues.
- Expert knowledge of risk governance framework and best practices, with strong project management skills and the ability to multi‑task on quality work deliverables.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and stakeholder management skills to develop core relationships across the organisation.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of key business priorities alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills with sound judgement to take initiative, apply reasoning and logic, and make actionable recommendations.
What we offer:
- Family Support – Industry‑leading maternity and paternity leave and paid time off if you have caring responsibilities.
- Perks and Discounts – Discounts at a range of high‑street retailers.
- Financial compensation, pension and bonus schemes.
- Health & Wellbeing – Tools and services to help support your well‑being, including support with mental health and financial education. You will also have access to gym discounts and our cycle‑to‑work scheme.
