Here at evoke plc our Econometrics team consists of talented mathematicians, statisticians, and economists who develop econometric models and analytical frameworks that support decision-making across Marketing, Finance, and Commercial functions. The team works closely with stakeholders across evoke to deliver actionable insights and drives econometric analysis for all brands and markets.
We are looking for a Lead Econometrician who wants to develop the next generation of marketing intelligence solutions. You will play a key role in evolving our Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) capability, delivering insights that support strategic and tactical marketing decisions across our brands and markets. You will contribute to the automation of data collection, modelling, and reporting processes, enabling a scalable pipeline of high-quality insights. In addition, you will own econometric projects from start to finish while supporting the development of more junior team members.
In this role you'll work effectively in a fluid environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches to achieve multiple competing deadlines and you'll demonstrate innovative thinking in the MMM space.
What you will be doing:
- Create and implement our next generation solution of MMM
- Deploy and maintain econometric models for different brands and markets
- Own the project delivery to ensure all the fundamental questions are correctly addressed
- Working with internal stakeholders and support functions across evoke, as well as external partners
- Support the management team in delivering our best-in-class internal MMM team, through cultivating a culture and environment for first class econometrics coupled with team growth and development.
- Direct involvement in driving marketing efficiency and improvements through optimisation and scenario planning.
- Participate in building and maintaining marketing optimisation tools, interactive dashboards, and process automation required to build a best-in-class internal econometrics capability.
Who we are looking for:

- Advanced MMM experience from a media agency or consultancy, or in-house from a relevant industry with a numerate degree such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer science at undergraduate or postgraduate level
- Experience in Python or R, and SQL as well as having advanced Excel skills allowing for modelling, data processing, and post-processing analysis
- Experience of leading econometric projects, and you are comfortable with mentoring junior members of the team you'll also be comfortable managing stakeholders and delivering presentations
- A working understanding of the media planning and buying landscape and how MMM can drive more effective marketing plans you'll have excellent communication skills, united with being a highly self-motivated individual who is not only results orientated but also a critical thinker.
