At evoke, we’re looking for a Head of Marketing Compliance to lead our team in ensuring all marketing activities across UK Online and Retail meet legal and industry standards. You’ll work closely with teams across Customer, Trading, Marketing, and Commercial to drive compliance and provide expert guidance on UK gambling marketing regulations. What you will be doing
- Lead the marketing compliance team to deliver great compliance and customer outcomes
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Ensure the business operates in full compliance with gambling laws and regulations
- Review and advise on campaigns and marketing materials
- Work closely with stakeholders, including the Data Protection Office, to ensure compliance with GDPR
- Develop and coach others to raise awareness of best practices to ensure compliance with marketing regulations
- Set up processes to monitor compliance across marketing campaigns
- Identify and manage risks in marketing activity, ensuring all stakeholders are kept up to date
Who we are looking for
- Knowledge of UK gambling regulatory requirements and associated marketing regulations (LCCP, CAP Code, Industry Codes, ASA guidelines); compliance and risk qualifications (e.g. ICA certified); experience within the betting and gaming industry; commercial awareness and understanding of key business priorities
- Analytical skills; attention to detail with the ability to interpret data to inform recommendations; sound judgement with the ability to apply logic and reasoning to make actionable decisions
- Verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities to build effective relationships across the organisation
- Leadership and management experience; competent in Microsoft Office programmes; proactive approach with the ability to take initiative.
