We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk to work out of our Melton Mowbray Branch.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the processing of all three branches purchase ledger, managing the ledger using an established system, liaising closely with the accounts department manager to deliver an accurate monthly ledger. The successful candidate will also communicate daily with suppliers, resolve any invoice queries, make payments, and generally manage the ledger.
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following attributes:
·Resolute, hardworking, and trustworthy

·Able to communicate well with colleagues within all departments of the business.
Daily duties would include, but are not limited to;
·Responding to relevant supplier queries
·Responding to the purchasing teams requests or queries
·Processing and the reconciliation of invoices/payments
·Dealing with pricing queries / increases
·Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
·Processing payments to suppliers
Ideally, we are looking for;
A person with outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile ledger accounts. Someone who is accurate, efficient, and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed. A professional, confident, and diplomatic person especially when consulting with others.
An absolute must;
The right candidate must have experience of Purchase Ledger.
You must also be fully proficient with Microsoft Office. Mainly Excel & Outlook.
Hours, Salary & Benefits
The start and end times are flexible but 4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
For example, 9:00am until 1:00pm Monday to Friday.
We provide a competitive salary depending on experience.
23 Days Holiday a Year + Bank Holidays.
