About the Role
From our three depots across Leicestershire and Rutland, we continue to offer an extensive range of building products for all of our customer needs as tradesmen, DIY enthusiasts or self-builders. Our product range is sourced from the country's leading suppliers and, as members of the H&B Buying Group and the National Merchant Buying Society, we are able to buy competitively and thereby offer competitive prices on a vast range of building products. With a history of promoting within our company, we are keen for any apprentice to do well and learn all aspects of the business, progressing in all areas from Sales, Distribution to Management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organised yard
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of materials
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Ensure proper storage and delivery of products
- Maintain accurate paperwork related to inventory, equipment inspections, and daily operations
- Learn how the trade counter operates and deal with customers and suppliers on a daily basis
Qualifications & Training
Trade Supplier Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard. Training will take place at our Oakham branch.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 and every other Saturday, 08:00 – 12:00.
