Are you a driven sales professional from an electrical wholesale background who enjoys building relationships, winning new business and growing existing accounts? We’re working with a well-established and growing business within the electrical distribution sector, who are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Manager to join their Tonbridge branch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for sales who wants to play a key role in developing the branch, strengthening customer relationships and helping to take the business to the next level.

The Role:

  • Working predominantly from the branch, you’ll take responsibility for developing and growing a portfolio of customers.
  • You’ll work closely with existing accounts to maximise opportunities, while proactively identifying and winning new business.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
    • Managing and developing existing customer accounts
    • Identifying opportunities to increase sales and customer spend
    • Proactively generating new business and developing new customer relationships
    • Building strong, long-term relationships with customers
    • Responding to customer enquiries and providing a high level of service
    • Preparing and following up quotations
    • Working closely with colleagues across the branch to maximise sales opportunities
    • Maintaining a strong understanding of customer requirements and the products and services available
    • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the branch

The Candidate:

  • You must have sales experience from within the electrical wholesale industry
  • You must be able to commute to Tonbridge 5 days per week
  • A proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
