Operate company HGVs safely and efficiently between sites.
Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries.
Manage the movement and yard coordination of full and empty containers/trailers.
Adhere to Transport Operating Licence requirements and company procedures.
Comply with all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Customs & Excise legislation.
Follow ISO 9001, BRC, and HMRC standards and report any non-conformances.
Liaise with internal teams including Despatch, Loading, and Vat Hall Coordinators.
Contribute to team meetings, continuous improvement activities, and problem-solving initiatives.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support team performance objectives.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Valid HGV licence (Class 1 or 2).
- Valid ADR Class 3 Licence required.
- Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
