We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will provide technical expertise to ensure maximum efficiency and performance across our engineering assets. In this hands-on role, you will carry out planned and allocated tasks across both fixed and mobile plant, supporting safe and reliable operations. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement within a high-performing team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carrying out maintenance activities in full compliance with safe working practices, quality procedures and regulatory requirements, environmental legislation, ISO, FEMAS standards.
- Providing specialist technical support to maximise efficiency across production and engineering assets, ensuring planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
- Supporting and driving team-based improvement initiatives, including advanced diagnostics such as Root Cause Analysis and FMEA/FMECA, and helping to agree and implement action plans.
- Responding promptly and effectively to unplanned breakdowns, carrying out root cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective solutions, particularly for complex technical issues.
- Updating maintenance records, plant history and technical documentation in the CMMS (IFS), ensuring all planned and reactive tasks are recorded accurately and on time.
- Recording all electrical, mechanical and instrumentation maintenance activities for KPI and reporting purposes.
- Working collaboratively within a high-performing team, contributing to site meetings, supporting production plans, and helping execute the Asset Maintenance Strategy.
- Participating in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours maintenance support as required.
- Demonstrating behaviours aligned with our diversity and inclusion aims, helping foster a culture where different perspectives are respected and valued.

- A qualified maintenance technician with experience in mechanical discipline.
- Skilled in carrying out planned, reactive and predictive maintenance on a wide range of plant and equipment.
- Strong problem solver with experience of RCA, FMEA/FMECA or similar methodologies.
- Competent in using CMMS systems (IFS experience advantageous).
- A strong communicator who works effectively within cross-functional teams.
