Are you ready to lead a team that keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes? At William Grant & Sons in Bellshill, we’re looking for a Materials Management Team Leader to ensure our Bottling Team has everything they need to deliver world class products on time, every time.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and inspire a team of Material Controllers and Planners, fostering strong supplier relationships and ensuring capacity meets demand.
- Coordinate the supply of material to deliver the production plan while hitting stock and inventory targets.
- Collaborate across the business, reviewing vendor schedules and resolving supply gaps through S&OE and S&OP frameworks.
- Partner with the Procurement and Quality team to maintain supplier contracts and service level agreements.
- Drive continuous improvement, reducing shortages, improving efficiency, and balancing cost, inventory, and service.
- Report and review dry goods held by suppliers, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to business reviews, sharing insights and leading functional discussions.
About You:
- A proactive leader with experience in materials management or supply chain.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
