My client has a great opening for a Service Manager at one of their branches near Newark On Trent and Grantham.
Salary is commensurate with experience but around the 45-55K mark to start plus a bonus scheme and additional benefits such as a vehicle/car, pension, holiday entitlement and more.
The company specialise in the sales and distribution of construction and agricultural machinery.
Ideally you will have the following:
- Experience as a time-served engineer with team-management in the aftermarket arena.
- Experience as a service manager/supervisor from a related product background.
- Experience in all aspects of service and aftersales issues, parts and warranty, contracts etc.
- Strong sales and customer-focused ability.
- Commercially astute with the ability to drive after-sales profitability.
We will also consider ambitious fitters or controllers who are looking for their next career progression.
You must have the following:
- A background in construction, material handling, commercial truck or agricultural equipment.
- Experience in a similar post in the past/currently, although we may look at similar disciplines such as automotive.
- Well presented, ambitious and self-motivated, with a passion for after-sales and service delivery.
