This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sheffield for an NDT Industrial Radiographer. The role involves performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using industrial radiography techniques to inspect components and systems for quality and safety standards. The responsibilities include adhering to radiation safety protocols, analyzing radiographic images, and preparing reports. The candidate will work closely with engineers and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Level II PCN RT in castings
- Understanding and application of Radiation Safety practices
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Radiology
- Experience with the principles and methodologies of Radiation usage in NDT
- Familiarity with industry standards for non-destructive testing is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to interpret radiographic images accurately
- Certification in NDT techniques or radiographic testing is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet production schedules
37.5 per week with overtime available working a 2 shift rota of mornings and nights. £39k per year plus shift allowance and bonuses.
