We are partnered with a well-established global asset manager who are looking to make a senior hire into the Client Relationship team. You will own a portfolio of institutional clients with a focus on the European region. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong investment knowledge and a proven track record of nurturing strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, strengthen, and deepen long-term relationships with European institutional clients (pension funds, insurers, endowments, foundations etc.) and key stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs with an ability to uncover cross-selling opportunities.
- Strategically position the firm’s product set and ultimately generate increased revenue across the client base.
- Drive the full lifecycle of the client relationship for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional, high-touch service delivery with a priority for long-term retention and positive brand representation.
- Operate as a mentor within the Client Relationship team, helping shape best-in-class client engagement.
- Partner closely with internal teams across Client Service, Distribution, Consultant Relations, and Investments to develop tailored client strategies.
- Use deep market knowledge to provide insights and deliver customised solutions.
- Utilise CRM tools to ensure seamless communication, tracking, and follow-up, providing transparency and insights across relevant teams.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Relevant industry qualifications preferred (IMC/CFA/CAIA).
- A minimum of 15 years experience in relationship management focused roles within asset management.
- Relevant institutional client coverage is essential.
- Availability/willingness to travel.
- European language skills are highly desirable.
