We have partnered with a renowned UK Headquartered Investment firm in supporting their search for a Sales Strategy Director. This pivotal role shapes and delivers the retail fundraising and distribution strategy, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. You will ensure products, propositions and market activity align with adviser needs, regulatory requirements and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the annual fundraising and distribution plan.
- Prepare analysis and insight on distribution channels, flows and adviser relationships.
- Support agreement of strategic product placement and alignment with target markets.
- Track the sales budget and key commercial performance metrics.
- Support identification of new product opportunities and enhancements informed by adviser and customer insight.
- Coordinate activities at the point of product launch, ensuring documentation, processes and internal communications are in place.
- Support Product and Investment teams to shape and maintain product roadmaps.
- Translate product initiatives into clear actions, timelines and stakeholder responsibilities.
- Track roadmap progress and highlight risks, issues or dependencies.
Required Skillset
- Knowledge of adviser distribution channels and retail fundraising dynamics. This would not be suitable for somebody with the majority of their experience in the Institutional space.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret market insights and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Experience in a product, proposition, strategy or distribution role within financial services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to create clear, compliant product messaging.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to support decision-making.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders across teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
