I’m working with a specialist asset manager who are looking to hire a Marketing Manager to join their team in London to cover a maternity leave on a 12-month FTC. The successful hire will have generalist marketing experience in the investment management industry and ideally previously managed a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to drive the global marketing strategy.
  • Manage two junior team members including day-to-day work flow, ensuring their work meets deadlines.
  • Plan and deliver events from end-to-end, both in-person and virtual.
  • Build and deliver fully integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline.
  • Develop the firm’s digital marketing efforts using the website, social media, email and marketing automation.
  • Oversee the production of marketing literature including factsheets, presentations and flyers.
  • Analyse and evaluate campaigns/events to measure effectiveness and ROI.
  • Ensure that all compliance procedures are met.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of marketing experience within the investment management industry.
  • Prior coverage of institutional and/or wholesale channels.
  • Understanding of the UK investment management market.
  • Prior line management experience is preferred but not essential.
  • An excellent project manager with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing and web analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
