My client, a top Investment Firm is looking for a Junior Fixed Income Performance Analyst. YOU MUST HAVE PERMANENT RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK FOR THIS ROLE.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Sylvan and FactSet performance and analytics systems to deliver both periodic and ad hoc performance reporting and analysis.
- Produce accurate, insightful monthly performance and attribution reports using FactSet PA3, with a particular focus on fixed income, and respond to ad hoc analytical requests.
- Act as a subject matter expert in fixed income analytics, with a deep understanding of analytical models and the ability to clearly explain methodologies and results to investment professionals.
- Work closely with portfolio managers to identify, analyze, and explain the key drivers of investment performance.
- Liaise with Client Services teams in London and other offices to support client reporting, new business development, and marketing initiatives, including training and supporting junior staff.
- Take ownership of continuous process improvement initiatives within the Investment Analytics team.
- Document processes and procedures in OneNote to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
- Contribute to the broader Investment Analytics function and participate in project work as required.
- Provide timely, accurate analytics and reporting on both a monthly and ad hoc basis, including fixed income attribution reports.
- Maintain responsibility for the creation and ongoing management of standard and bespoke benchmarks.
- Collaborate effectively within the home team and across other business functions to achieve shared objectives.
- Deliver project work within agreed timelines and business requirements.
- Liaise regularly with Portfolio Managers, Client Services, and Operations teams, including ISS, Investment Administration, and Fund Accounting.
- Support interactions with existing clients and potential investors as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in fixed income analytics and performance reporting.
- Proficiency with performance analytics systems (e.g., Sylvan, FactSet) and PA3 for attribution reporting.
- Ability to explain methodologies and results to investment professionals.
- Permanent right to work in the UK for this role.
