I am working with a leading global asset management firm who are looking for a Client Contracting Manager to join its EMEA team based in London working in partnership with global colleagues. This is a key role within a central contracts team, responsible for managing wholesale and institutional client documentation across the full contract lifecycle. The position offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Distribution, and would suit a detail-driven professional with solid asset management and contracting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of wholesale client documentation, including rebate, distribution, share class, and investment management agreements.
- Capture, validate, and document pricing and rebate arrangements, ensuring all approvals are in place prior to implementation.
- Maintain and oversee client documentation within internal filing systems and enterprise document repositories.
- Chair weekly work-in-progress meetings and provide clear status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate document review and approvals with subject matter experts across the business.
- Proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely review, sign-off, and execution of documentation.
- Support the negotiation and execution of investment management agreements when required.
- Assist with ad hoc legal reviews, audit requests, management reporting, and control testing.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the contracts function.
Experience required
- Proven experience within asset management, ideally in a contracts, legal, client onboarding, or governance-focused role.
- Strong understanding of asset management products, wholesale distribution structures, and institutional clients.
- Experience managing documentation lifecycles in a regulated UK or EMEA environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to challenge and follow up where required.
