Job Description
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Communications and PR, the content team and external PR agencies to ensure that key written content the distinctive company culture, and that our written tone of voice underscores the care, curiosity and intellectual rigour we employ on our clients' behalf. This includes creating and writing articles which can be placed with the key media outlets read by professional clients.
- Write and edit regular reports for a range of funds.
- Edit and ghost-write investment insights.
- Respond to technical enquiries and formal complaints from clients (professional and private investors) concerning fund performance.
- Adapt selected reports for institutional clients.
- Quality control other team members’ work.
Skills required
- Ability to write clearly, succinctly, and creatively.
- Minimum of three years’ inhouse investment writing experience about different asset classes, particularly fixed Income and equities.
- Understanding of and ability to comment on events and themes in financial markets.
- Ability to apply principles of good copywriting and editing to bring clarity and consistency to a range of client reports and publications.
- Ability to present information about funds (and the markets in which they invest) to our clients in the form of charts or infographics.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with senior fund managers.
