This role within the Middle Office team will have responsibility for the control and deliverables relating to the operations business unit. The role is focused on various operational functions, including but not limited to trade support, settlements, asset servicing, and corporate actions.

About the Role

Understanding and resolving issues related to trading and investment portfolios, reconciliation with external service providers and counterparties, servicing the Front Office trading team, and meeting our metrics and standards. This position is suitable for individuals looking to progress their career in operations/middle office, offering opportunities to develop product and individual knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking day-to-day trade support for trading activities across managed platforms.
  • Managing trade flow and lifecycle activities to ensure timely and accurate settlement and accounting.
  • Collaborating with Front Office trading teams on corporate event processes (consents, amendments, extensions) including relevant documentation.
  • Maintaining creation of new securities and trade static data for accurate trade and position recording.
  • Resolving reconciliation breaks identified in daily cash and position exception processes.
  • Coordinating with internal infrastructure teams such as fund control, margin, risk, and front office.
  • Engaging with external parties like fund administrators, trustees, custodians, agents, and counterparties.
  • Understanding system flows to resolve issues and improve controls and processes.
  • Participating in projects to enhance business delivery and firm objectives.

Requirements include a 2:1 Degree and experience in Trade Support, Settlements, Corporate Actions, and Middle Office within Asset Management.
