Overview
Executive Consultant at William Blake Group. We are working with an asset manager who is going through an exciting period of growth and looking to make a Sales Support hire into the European Institutional Sales team. You will be joining a high-performing environment where you\’ll have hands-on development from the team lead. This opportunity will suit an individual who enjoys Sales and sees that as their long-term career path.
Responsibilities
- Work in close partnership with the Sales Director and have involvement in various aspects of relationship building and sales processes.
- Organise and track meetings/conference calls.
- Manage the production of client meeting materials.
- Attend meetings with prospects, writing meeting notes and ensuring that follow-up is completed efficiently.
- Carry out market research, identifying potential clients and suitable strategies.
- Ensure RFPs are coordinated internally and contribute to final messaging.
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role within asset management e.g. Sales Support, Client Services, Investor Relations etc.
- Fluency in a European language is desirable but not essential (e.g. German, Italian, French).
- IMC qualification is preferable and ambitions to work towards the CFA is desirable.
- Confident communicator with a desire to progress into Sales.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
