We are exclusively partnered with a leading private equity firm looking to hire a Deal Communications Specialist in London. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Communications and take ownership of the firm’s deal communications workstream. This is a fast-paced position suited to someone with excellent writing ability and strong private equity knowledge, who is comfortable translating complex deal coverage into clear, impactful communications.
Responsibilities
- Partner with deal teams to translate complex transaction details into clear communications, managing multiple deal communication processes simultaneously.
- Own the communications workstream end-to-end, including content development, internal approvals and distribution.
- Produce a range of transaction-related materials including press releases, investor communications, holding statements and leadership briefings, ensuring all content is accurate and compliant.
- Collaborate with portfolio company leadership teams to align messaging and communications strategy.
- Manage inbound global media enquiries relating to live deals and broader firm activity.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and media positioning around transactions and firm developments.
- Oversee the distribution of transaction updates across relevant channels, ensuring consistent messaging.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in private equity deal communications, gained within a private equity firm, investment bank or communications agency supporting transactions.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial literacy, with the ability to translate technical material into clear and concise messaging.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and content development.
- Ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deals concurrently.
- Confident engaging with senior internal stakeholders and portfolio company leadership teams.
