The Client Executive is an important point of contact with clients (and potential clients).

Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with portfolio administration requests, i.e. transfer of money, aiding the set-up of new portfolios, changing standing orders and ISA subscriptions.
  • Creating and producing reporting documents for client meetings using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Responsible for mail outs (via email), including the quarterly valuation letters.
  • Client onboarding – handling the distribution and overseeing completion of new client paperwork.
  • Updating client data as necessary when client circumstances change.
  • Communicating with external stakeholders, e.g. pension providers and IFAs.
  • Assisting in the co-ordination of new assets being transferred into client accounts.
  • Maintaining PM’s diaries.
  • Participating in any project work that impacts the Team – as directed by the Operations Oversight, Client Life Cycle Team or Compliance.
  • Organising and booking events for Team members.
  • Organising UK and international travel.
  • Inbox management for Portfolio Managers when out of office.

Required Experience:

  • Relevant industry experience having worked in either Asset Management or broader Financial Services.
  • Relevant industry qualification (e.g. CISI, CFA, IMC or similar equivalent).
  • Conscientious attention to detail.
  • Professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Proactive self-starter.
  • Excellent time management and forward thinking - demonstrated skill in anticipating and responding to shifting priorities.
  • Strong service orientation with the highest standards in responding to and servicing clients.
  • Able to work under pressure.
