William Blair’s Secondaries Advisory team of experts provide financial sponsors and their investors with holistic, bespoke solutions across all stages of the private equity lifecycle.

Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Unique opportunity to work alongside current analysts, associates, and senior bankers over the course of a 9-week programme with the Secondary Advisory team.
- Take on all functions of a full-time analyst.
- Direct client exposure.

- Work alongside and support senior bankers in research and creation of pitch materials.
- Build fund-level and asset-level financial models to value potential transactions.
- Conduct research on fund strategies and sector focus to better align with client targeting and enhance market mapping efforts.
- Maintain database of the team’s communications with fund managers, limited partners, and secondary investors.
- Assist with the transaction execution process, including all investor dialogue tracking and diligence requests.
- Play integral role in various deals.

Qualifications
- Pursuing bachelor\’s or master\’s degree with anticipated graduation between November 2026 to June 2027.
- Bachelor and master’s degree: all subjects considered.
- General understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- You are adaptable in an ever-changing environment and can manage through change with a high degree of emotional maturity.
- You are highly motivated, detail oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Fluent in English is essential.
- Fluency in other European languages is a benefit.
Application Process
- Application window is open until 12th January 2026.
- Those eligible will be asked to complete an online assessment run by our assessment partner, SHL.
- Interviews & Assessment centers will either be in person or virtual (depending on availability).
- The 9 week Summer Analyst programme will run between 15th June to 14th August 2026.
