Job Title Lunch Assistant Location William Barcroft Junior School, Cleethorpes Contract Permanent, 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Term Time only Salary HLT Scale 1a, point 3 (£24,796) – actual salary £5,560 per week Closing Date 7th July 2026 Responsibilities Supervise individual and groups of children in dining and circulation areas during lunch break.
Engage children in appropriate activity to maintain behaviour, standards and wellbeing.
Intervene when necessary to preserve safety and welfare.
Qualifications and Attributes Passionate and dedicated with a strong commitment to education.
Strong work ethic and a flexible approach to tasks.
Approachable, professional, reliable and self‑motivated.
Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
Experience or interest in working with children is desirable.
