Our client, a London Market insurer, is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join a major underwriting transformation programme focused on building a new Data Analytics Platform for underwriting teams. This role sits within a business-led transformation where underwriting teams are developing bespoke analytics and reporting capabilities that need to be securely deployed into live cloud environments via modern DevOps pipelines.

You'll work closely with the underwriting community to understand the analytics and tooling they are building, providing guidance around cloud-native delivery, DevOps best practices, and secure deployment approaches. The role will involve building greenfield CI/CD pipelines and supporting the delivery of bespoke analytics solutions into production environments.

This is a highly collaborative and business-facing role, suited to someone comfortable operating between engineering, security, and underwriting stakeholders. This is a permanent role paying between £70,000 - £100,000 DOE and requires 2-3 days a week in their London office.

Experience required:

  • Strong Azure or AWS cloud experience
  • Hands-on DevOps experience using Terraform
  • Jenkins or GitHub Actions experience
  • Financial Services or regulated industry background preferred
