Responsibilities

  • Create high-resolution digital visualizations and concepts to a high standard
  • Create digital and physical mood boards and design intent for holiday homes and lodges
  • Proactively liaise with suppliers to ensure that all specified products are available, or choose alternative products
  • Monitor key competitors to ensure the creative element of the overall design strategy is on track
  • Monitor market trends and competitors
  • Assist in updating of Design Catalogue, Product specifications
  • Proactively monitor and act upon internal and external feedback to improve the design process and output
  • Assist in creating and presenting to staff and clients/customers design proposals
  • Provide detailed and accurate drawings and visualizations that are suitable for customer presentation and for production
  • Work closely with Commercial, Technical and Procurement teams
  • Ensure that all new products and designs are designed for manufacture and meet the project budget
  • Provide technical CAD data to suppliers, the technical team and BOM team where required
  • Attend shows, events and offsite meetings when required
  • Perform admin duties as required
  • Knowledge & Experience
  • Product/interior design graduate or industry experience
  • Able to create fabric and colour schemes
  • Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes
  • Furniture design
  • Keen interest in interior design
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets
  • Positive attitude
  • Mood board creation experience
  • 2D Auto CAD / Autodesk Inventor experience
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar
  • Proficient in Sketch Up software for generating concepts and final design visuals
