About You

Accountabilities
- Ensure all furniture is sent to the production line on time, in full.
- Responsible for liaising with the Supervisor and other cabinet makers to ensure a safe and smooth running of the cab shop.
- Is able to read & interpret technical drawing; break each individual pallet down into specific units, check all components relate to the specific drawing.
- Check for any missing items, defects, chips or anomalies and report to the Supervisor immediately.
- Is able to identify options labels that will affect the build.
- Is able to assemble furniture to a high quality standard to meet daily targets.
- Assemble the furniture in line with the technical drawing.
- Load the assembled furniture onto barrows and put into the holding area for loaders.
- Be proactive & able to recognize & highlight shortages in material in a timely manner.
- Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times.
- Assist with housekeeping & 5’s.
- Undertake waste management duties, ensuring all recycling is processed efficiently, operating machinery where appropriate in a safe manner.
