About the role

We are looking for a Weekend Warehouse Customer Assistant to join our passionate team based at our busy Distribution Centre at Kiln Farm.
In this role, you will be the warm welcome at the heart of our operations, as you greet our supporters, assist with donations, organise stock and help with unloading deliveries.
What you’ll do:
- Support Daily Operations: Work alongside the warehouse team to move, organise and allocate stock for distribution.
- Supporter Engagement: Greet and assist supporters dropping off donations with a welcoming and courteous service.
- Gift Aid Promotion: Maximise income by encouraging donors to sign up for Gift Aid, completing paperwork, and adding Gift Aid labels to relevant stock (full training will be given).
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with the safe collection and delivery of donated goods, working safely and in compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Furniture Storage & Stock Rotation: Help with the storage and rotation of stock to ensure the warehouse remains well-organised and functional.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the Team Leaders and volunteers to ensure the smooth running of operations.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Help keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well-organised.
- Compliance: Follow all organisational policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including Health & Safety regulations.
