About the role
Keeping stock moving, to keep delivering care for our community! Are you a stock controller who is great with data, details and enjoys knowing exactly where everything is? We are looking for a motivated, insight driven stock controller – known internally as the Warehouse Team Leader (Stock Control) – to join the team at our Distribution Centre in Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our retail operation, using your planning and organisation skills to ensure our shops are well stocked, our stock management system is accurately maintained and our warehouse is running smoothly.
What you’ll do:
- Plan & order new stock for our shops
- Manage the stock control system (cybertill)
- Carry out stock checks and counts
- Pick, pack and prepare new goods ready for distribution
- Manage the storage of stock
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team
- General warehouse operational tasks
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Well organised with good planning skills
- Has warehouse experience and good understanding of stock control processes
- IT literate and confident to act as lead user of the stock control system (cybertill)
- A team player – working collaboratively with the warehouse team, volunteers and corporate partners
- Physically fit to carry out regular manual handling of stock
