We're supporting a leading manufacturing company in Banbury who are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join their team.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy manufacturing site.
You'll coordinate maintenance, contractors, compliance activities and site services, helping to ensure the facility remains safe, efficient and well maintained.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Arrange repairs and respond to maintenance requests
- Monitor HVAC, lighting, fire protection, security, plumbing and utilities
- Coordinate external contractors and service providers
- Review risk assessments, method statements and permits to work
- Support statutory inspections and compliance activities
- Coordinate fire safety and emergency lighting inspections
- Maintain facilities and compliance records
- Support office moves, facility upgrades and improvement projects
- Manage facilities equipment and consumable inventories
- Support purchasing and supplier management
- Coordinate cleaning, waste, pest control, grounds and security services
- Support energy reduction and sustainability initiatives
About You
- Experience in facilities, maintenance, property management or a similar role
- Experience within manufacturing or an industrial environment preferred
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Confident managing contractors and external suppliers
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification preferred
- Knowledge of permit-to-work systems would be beneficial
