We’re supporting a leading global Machine Tool Manufacturer as they expand their UK team. They’re seeking an experienced CNC Applications Engineer with strong knowledge of Siemens 840Dsl, Heidenhain TNC, and modern machining processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales with feasibility studies & time studies
  • Deliver turnkey solutions: process planning, NC programming, tooling, workholding
  • Train customers on machines, controls, and processes
  • Provide technical support on 4 & 5 axis machines & automation
  • Develop custom demos and support cutting trials, FAT/SAT
  • Advise customers on best practices & machine care
  • Produce clear service reports
  • Stay up to date with machine ranges; attend training in Germany

Skills & Experience Required

  • Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • British and/or European passport
  • Siemens 840Dsl & Heidenhain TNC experience
  • 5-axis machining experience (preferred)
  • CAM experience (Hypermill preferred)
