Shift Pattern: Days, 8am-5:30pm

We’re supporting our client, a leading injection moulding company based in Corby, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have previous experience of Injection Moulding, Toolmaking, and toolroom machinery.

Responsibilities for Toolmaker:

* Repairing, modifying and maintaining all existing production tooling

* Service a range of mould Tooling

* Operating all toolroom plant and machinery safely

* Provide continuous improvement

* Log any completed tool maintenance and repair work

* Use of Toolroom database

* Ensure correct marking and labelling of tools

* Rectify problems quickly and effectively

* Quality checking

About You:

* Have plastic injection mould tool experience in a similar role.

* Relevant tooling qualifications (Apprenticeship, HNC etc)

* Industry experience within plastics/injection moulding is essential.

* CNC, CAD/CAM experience is desirable but not essential.

* Experience with hot runner systems/valve gates and manifolds would be advantageous.
