Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm

We’re supporting our client, a global, leading injection moulding company based in Essex, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have confidence in using all manual workshop machinery including lathes, milling machines and grinders, as well as experience with CNC milling using Heidenhain and Fanuc.

Job Summary: As a Toolmaker, you’ll join a friendly team, designing, building and testing injection mould tools for automotive, healthcare, aerospace, and other commercial applications.

Responsibilities for Toolmaker:

* Setting and using CNC vertical mills, manual lathes, manual surface grinders, manual spark erosion machines, fitting and welding.

* Reading technical drawings and machining mould tool components, jigs and fixtures

* Repairing and improving mould tools.

About You:

* Must be confident using all manual workshop machinery including lathes, Milling machines and grinders.

* Experience with CAD will be an advantage.

* Experience with CNC milling using Heidenhain and Fanuc.

* Experience with injection mould tooling preferred.

* Ideally apprentice trained and from a craft / toolmaking background.
