Job Title: Robot Programmer Salary: Up to £70,000 + OTE Benefits: To be discussed at interview Job Type: Permanent Location: Telford Job Start date: ASAP Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Days We’re supporting our client, a leading global automation company based in Telford, who are looking for a Robot Programmer to join their growing team. The successful Robot Programmer will have experience in programming, installing and commissioning robotics; furthermore, will have worked with ABB, Kuka or Fanuc robotics. Position Overview: As a Robot Programmer, you'll be responsible for completing the setup and installation of robots from a single robot to multiple robot cells. Your primary focus will be ensuring all equipment is in working order and promoting good communication within the robotic department as well as other departments to ensure a quality product. The Robot Programmer will also assist, and train other robot technicians as required. Responsibilities for Robot Programmer: * Program robot paths, set up program structure and implement offline programming * Configure robot IO (Input/ Output), weld interface and program call * Set up structure for robot programs * Provide robotic support and training as required * Develop and control program structure as jobs progress * Work on robot drawings and configurations * Train and work with other programmers to enhance skill level * Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics …
