We’re supporting our client, a global, leading components manufacturer based in Blackburn, who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have previous experience with automated systems, as well as PLC knowledge.
Responsibilities for Maintenance Engineer:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Fault finding on PLC’s
- Diagnosis and root cause analysis
- Maintenance on hydraulics and pneumatics
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
About You:
- Ideally multi-skilled maintenance abilities
- PLC knowledge
- Experience with automated systems
- Proven experience with various electrical systems and components, including low and high voltage equipment.
