We’re supporting our client, a global, leading components manufacturer based in Blackburn, who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have previous experience with automated systems, as well as PLC knowledge.

Responsibilities for Maintenance Engineer:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Fault finding on PLC’s
  • Diagnosis and root cause analysis
  • Maintenance on hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

About You:

  • Ideally multi-skilled maintenance abilities
  • PLC knowledge
  • Experience with automated systems
  • Proven experience with various electrical systems and components, including low and high voltage equipment.
