The Senior Lettings Negotiator will provide strong leadership and support to the Head of Lettings and the wider Lettings Department. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants while supporting the continued growth of the lettings portfolio, market share, and brand presence. The Senior Lettings Negotiator will work closely with the Head of Lettings to implement new initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and help achieve the department’s growth targets and oversee the Lettings Negotiator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Head of Lettings in the smooth running of the Lettings Department, maintaining a strong focus on performance, efficiency, and growth and work towards weekly let target and monthly move ins.
  • Act as a senior point of contact within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues and assisting with resolving queries or issues that arise.
  • Assist with the training, guidance, and mentoring of new team members to ensure high standards and consistent service delivery.
  • Deliver an exceptional level of customer service to landlords, tenants, and clients at all times.
  • Assist with key departmental tasks, including oversight of accounts-related processes when required in the absence of the Head of Lettings.
  • Manage relets by preparing properties for marketing and ensuring they are promptly relaunched to the market.
  • Conduct and complete Section 13 rent increases in line with legislation and company procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong landlord relationships through clear communication and proactive account management to encourage long-term retention.
  • Proactively contribute to business development by identifying opportunities to expand the lettings portfolio.
  • Support the Head of Lettings with departmental administration processes and ensure effective use of lettings software and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant lettings legislation and company procedures, keeping up to date with regulatory changes.
  • Promote, encourage, and uphold the Wilkinson Grant culture across the team.
  • Support and uphold the company’s Equality, Diversity & Conduct policy.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the Head of Lettings to support the continued success and growth of the business.
  • Support the Lettings Negotiator to meet targets for the department.
