Wilkinson Forestry has an opening for an excavator driver working throughout Northumbria ,The Lake District, North York Moors, North East England and everywhere in between.
We have an extremely busy all year round schedule, working in remote areas.
We take extreme pride in both the work we carry out and the machines we operate.
Ideal candidate would
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Have some machinery experience (preferably fmoc tickets but not essential)
- Have basic mechanical skills
- Be willing to work as part of a team and on their own
- Be able to present themselves in a polite pleasant manor
- Be willing to accept that rates will reflect the forestry ground prep experience and quality you hold
- On site accommodation, van and fuel card supplied. Standard 50 hours per week with extra hours available
