Delighted to be exclusively retained to recruit the UK Finance Manager position for Premier Hytemp, a global manufacturing business based out of West Lothian. The role will have a broad remit focusing on the UK entity and will be a key member of the Group’s international management team reporting to the Group Finance Director. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to support best-in-class commercial decision making by providing robust and timely financial reporting and management information whilst also maintaining, and continually improving, a robust system of internal financial controls complemented by appropriate systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day to day operations of the UK finance team, including preparation of UK payroll, VAT, tax and other returns etc.;
- Preparation of UK statutory accounts and liaising with audit, accounting, tax and other advisors to meet external reporting requirements;
- Preparing the Company’s financial and management reporting information, including the monthly trading commentary for the month;
- Consolidating group information for reporting with support from Group FD;
- Prepare and analyse weekly company cash flows identifying variations, opportunities and risks, and proposing appropriate actions to address same for discussion with the Group FD;
- Consolidate group cash flows for weekly reporting;
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for UK, and assist in consolidating budget and reforecasts for the Group;
- Supporting the forthcoming upgrade of the Group’s finance and ERP system;
- Other project and ad-hoc work as directed by the Group FD or other members of the Board from time to time.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with experience within an industrial setting
- Organised, highly numerate, accurate and able to work to deadlines
- Rigorous with strong attention to detail; able to constructively and robustly challenge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with growth mindset and eager to learn
- Digitally literate with advanced Excel skills
This role is a hybrid opportunity with 4 days onsite and one from home. The role also comes with genuine progression opportunity within the group.
